Welcome to the University of Edinburgh poker society website! This section contains correct information for the 2007/2008 academic year. Please excuse the state of site - the old web master left university last year, so for the time being it's down to me (who has no technical expertise) to update it! If you wish to keep up to date with poker society events please send an email to edinburghpoker@googlemail.com requesting to be on the mailing list.

Where do we meet?

Our first two events will be a £2 rebuy on Thursday 20th September 2007 and £10 freezeout on Thursday 27th September 2007. We will be playing in the mezzanine room in Teviot. Registration is between 6.00pm and 6.30pm and we'll kick off the tournaments at 6.45pm.

If you are a novice to the game you can attend our training session at 6pm on Thursday 20th September where you will be run through the rules and basic strategy in preparation for the tournament.

Due to difficulties booking rooms in Teviot, we cannot yet confirm future dates for our meetings, however, we will do our best to put an event on every thursday on term.
