Summary:

This tourney saw Alex Gardiner in a heads up battle against Tom Latter, two of the societies most seasoned players. It was pretty even play, until the critical hand that saw Tom's pocket 4's clash with Alex's pocket 5's. Alex's hand held up, leaving him with more than a 10 to 1 chip lead. Unfortunately NO POINTS WERE AWARDED as it was decided this would give the members helping in the freeroll an unfair disadvantage.
